The building is in decent shape considering it's history. The facility hosts all sorts of events; from concerts and lectures, to plays and film festivals. It's run by Central Alberta Theatre, and has a variety of volunteers and staff from all walks of life.

My wife and I enjoyed the Hotel California show immensely. These four guys are very talented musicians. In the center 11 rows back was a perfect place to sit. Thanks to the Memorial Center crew who did a great job. ?

Went to the ABBA cover band, ABRA! The sound and performance was excellent. When we got there there was a huge lineup. Immediately someone came outside and directed us to a side door where we walked right in and had our tickets scanned immediately. We were seated within 2 minutes of arriving at the door. Although the wine they serve is not good. They need to find a way to get away from the wine that comes in 6 oz plastic cups. It always tastes as if it's gone bad. That would be my one suggestion if I was in charge of Memorial center

As the Alternate Principal Percussionist of the Red Deer Symphony Orchestra, it has been my honour and privilege to perform here a few times over the years. The production staff are great, and extremely helpful to me given the equipment logistics I routinely have to deal with. Here are a couple of photos from the engagement during which I got to perform with Steven Page and cover some good ol' Barenaked Ladies tunes! Thanks for the beautiful venue and all of the support, folks! 🙂

We love the concerts at Red Deer Memorial Centre. The volunteers are wonderful and kind. Any seat in the house is a good one. Always a wonderful experience. So happy with this venue in our pretty little city.

Had a first date here with my kids mother 14 years ago at a comedy show headlined by sugar Sammy, now my son takes acting classes and puts on plays and is lead by a wonderful hardworking group of actors. Also found a cooler full of beer in the parking lot one late while having a 2am cigarette many many many years ago, was also reminded by downtown Terry (rip) TO NEVER ASK A LADY HER AGE , in the raspiest deep voice I had ever heard.
